Meet the Team
Principal Investigator
Prof. Moran Rubinstein
Prof. Moran Rubinstein is the Head of The Goldschleger Research Institute and a Faculty member at The Department of Human Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry, The Faculty of Medicine and The Sagol school of Neuroscience at Tel Aviv University, Israel. She completed her Ph.D. studies at Tel Aviv University (2010) and her postdoctoral training at the University of Washington, Seattle, USA (2015).
Prof. Rubinstein’s research is focused on deciphering the neuronal basis of neurodevelopmental disorders and developing novel treatment options, for these devastating conditions. Recently, with Eric Kremer from CNRS, France, she also developed a novel, viral-mediated gene therapy for Dravet syndrome, with efficacy in juvenile and adult Dravet syndrome mice.
